Faithfully watching, three bison peacefully lay as the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone National Park explodes in its curiously natural and timely fashion. This locale is one of the most photographed and visited spots in national parks around the country. Thousands of tourists from around the world visit the geyser each summer and snowmobile tours take visitors during the winter season. Winter is a hardship for most animals, but bison are gathered near old faithful geyser in part because of the warmth the geyser emanates and also because of the possibility of exposed forage from the run-off caused by the geyser.
